1. What is Songster?

ANS: Songster is an entertainment based mobile app whereby members will record their creative videos and share in the app and other social media e.g. Facebook, Instagram. The app has a wide range of popular Bangla song collection, Funny Bangla dialogues, Funny creative filters, and much more.

2. From where will I download the app?

ANS. User needs to download the app from Google play.

3. Can the app run on both Android and IOS?

ANS. Yes, it is supported in both Android and IOS

4. Is there any activation or subscription charge?

ANS. No, there is no activation or subscription charge. Charges only applicable for buying coins.

5. Why do we need coins?

ANS. Coins are needed to buy songs and send gifts.

6. What should be the android version for this app to operate?

ANS. Android version 5.0 and above

7. Will I have to buy the same song again, if I want to make video using the same song that I have made few days back?

ANS. Yes, every time you make a video, you will have to purchase the music/dialogues.

8. Can I use the app offline?

ANS. No, you cannot. You must be Online

9. How can I purchase coin?

ANS. Coins can be purchased using Google wallet or by using bkask or Mkash or visa or master card or nexus or American express card.

How to Use

For shooting video:

1. Click the video SHOOT icon

2. Select music from the library provided or select Voice record

3. Click to START

4. Record

5. Select whether you want to keep the video or not

6. If you decide to keep the video, then give a TITLE to your video

7. Click to POST button, for posting

For duet video:

1. Click the DUET button, on the video you want to do duet

2. Click to START

3. Record

4. Select whether you want to keep the video or not

5. If you decide to keep the video, then give a TITLE to your video

6. Click to POST button, for posting

For going live:

1. Click the LIVE button

2. Click the GO LIVE button

3. Click to START button to start your live

4. Click to the COMMENT icon if you want to comment

5. Click to the Back button of your Phone, to end your live session

For payment:

1. Click the SETTINGS icon

2. In the GENERAL section, Click BUY COIN

3. Select your method of payment

4. Select amount of coins you want to buy.

5. Provide details regarding your payment method.

Community Policy

Harmful or dangerous content

When you use Songster you are joining a global community. Don’t post or share content that could harm other users or encourage them to harm themselves – whether through physical, emotional, financial, or legal harm.

• Terrorist organizations and any other criminal organizations are strictly prohibited from using Songster.

• DO NOT use Songster to promote and support these organizations or individuals.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content that depicts dangerous acts, self-injury, or suicide, nor provide any content that encourages other people to engage in such activities.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content that depicts, promotes, encourages, or provides instruction for eating disorders.

• DO NOT intimidate or threaten other people, including threats of physical harm against a specific individual.

• DO NOT use Songster to sell or encourage the use of weapons, bombs, drugs, or any other regulated goods prohibited by local laws.

• DO NOT use Songster to encourage or promote online gambling or other financial schemes.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content that involves illegal activities.

Graphic or shocking content:

Songster is not the place for graphic, violent, shocking, or sensational content. If you wouldn’t show this content to your parents or children, please don’t post it here.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any violent, graphic, shocking, or sensational content, nor provide any content that incites others to commit acts of violence.

Discrimination or hate speech

Songster is an inclusive community. It is not ok to attack or incite violence against other users.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content that incites hatred against a group of people based on their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, culture, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, or any other discrimination.

• DO NOT post, share, or send contents that may trigger hostility, including trolling or provocative remarks.

Nudity or sexual activity

Songster is not the place for sexually explicit content or content intended for sexual gratification. If it isn’t something suitable to be done or shown in public view, don’t post it.

• Songster strictly prohibits any content that contains, promotes, or encourages sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, or sexual violence. DO NOT post any such content.

• DO NOT post, share, or send explicit content, sexual content, or nudity.

• DO NOT provide content related to prostitution, solicitation, or any other types of sex trade.

Child safety infringement

Songster takes child safety with the utmost seriousness. If we become aware of content that sexually exploits, targets, or endangers children, we may comply with law enforcement or report cases, as appropriate.

• Songster strictly prohibits any sexually explicit content featuring minors or content that sexually exploits minors. DO NOT post any such content.

• Songster may remove videos containing nude or partially-nude children, as such videos could be used by others in unanticipated ways.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content about online dating with minors, compensated dating, invasion of a minor’s privacy, or other content that endangers minors’ physical and mental health.

• DO NOT use public posts or private messages to harass underage users.

• DO NOT use the app if you are under 13, or the minimum age for your country or region if designated differently in the Terms of Service. Parents, please see here for more.

Harassment or cyberbullying

We work hard to promote a positive environment and an abuse-free experience for our users. Please keep your interactions civil and treat all users with respect.

• DO NOT disclose others’ personally identifiable information, such as address, phone number, email address, ID number, and credit card number.

• DO NOT deliberately degrade, humiliate, defame, or bully other people, nor encourage other users to do so.

Impersonation, spam, or other misleading content

Our community values high-quality, engaging content. Content or behavior that is spammy, fake, or misleading will be removed.

• DO NOT impersonate another person or organization by creating fake identities, confuse others into believing that your relationship with another person or organization is something it is not, or post misleading content to make money.

• DO NOT create artificial traffic by any means, such as trading comments, hiring others or being hired to write comments, sharing repetitive content, sending chain letters, and using deceptive information to encourage views, likes or comments.

Intellectual property

Songster is a place for creativity and expression that is unique and original.

• DO NOT post, share, or send any content that violates someone else’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

Other malicious activity

In addition to the content and behavior outlined above, our policies prohibit activity that undermines the Songster service.

• DO NOT interfere with Songster’s daily operation, hack its website or associated networks, or bypass its measures to restrict users’ access.

• DO NOT distribute files that contain viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

• DO NOT modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or create any derivative products based on Songster, including any files, tables or documentation, nor attempt to regenerate any source code, algorithms, methods, or techniques embodied in Songster.

• DO NOT use automated scripts to collect information from Songster.

Terms and condition

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information when you create an account, and use the Platform, such as your contact details, content you create, your location, and monetary transection related details, which might be needed for your future purchases. We also collect information you share with us from third party social network providers, like your FB details, and technical and behavioral information about your use of the Platform.

How will we use the information about you?

We use your information to fulfil and enforce our service contract with you, to improve and administer the Platform and allow you to use its functionalities. We also use your information to, among other things, show you suggestions, promote the Platform, and serve you targeted advertising.

Who do we share your information with?

We share your data with our third party service providers we rely on to help you provide the Platform. These providers include cloud storage providers, and our internal IT service providers. We will share your information with the following selected third parties:

• our business partners so that we can make you special offers via the Platform

• advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve adverts to you and others

• cloud storage providers to store the information you provide and for disaster recovery services, as well as for the performance of any contract we enter into with you

• Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the optimization and improvement of the Platform

• IT service providers

• Our data center and the servers of our host providers.

The security of your information

We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your information, for example, by encryption, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted through the Platform; any transmission is at your own risk.

How long we keep your information

We use the following criteria to determine the period for which we will keep your information:

• Videos that you share: ones you decide upload it and share, this document will be our property.

• Information collected from 3rd party social site (FB): It will be with us, as long as you don’t delete your account.

Information relating to children

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a person under the age of 13 we will delete this information and terminate the person’s account. If we make any changes to this policy, we will be notified through our social media page and also receive notification in your notification box.
